1. Who operates this site
krafet.com ("Krafet", "we") is an automated domain-name research tool. Contact details are provided on request through the site operator.
2. Data stored on your device
If you activate a PRO license, the signed license token is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay logged in; it never leaves your device except to be checked by our server when you use a PRO feature. Your language choice is carried in the URL. Clear both through your browser settings. Krafet sets no cookies of its own.
3. Server logs
The web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, referring page, browser user agent, time) for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic statistics. Logs are rotated and deleted automatically, are never shared or sold, and are not linked to any profile.
4. Domain names you check
When you type a name into the availability checker, our server forwards that name to the relevant registry's public RDAP or WHOIS service to learn whether it is registered. The registry sees our server's IP address, not yours. Krafet does not store the names you check, does not register them, and has no interest in them. Registry lookups are subject to the registry's own terms.
5. AI appraisals
If you request an AI appraisal, the domain name (and nothing else — no IP address, no account data) is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the text. Anthropic's handling of API inputs is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy.
6. Payments and PRO licenses
PRO subscriptions, when offered, are sold and billed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your payment details and email address and issues the license key; Krafet never sees your card number. Our server only sends the license key to Lemon Squeezy's licensing API to confirm it is valid. See the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy.
7. Registrar links
"Register" links open the chosen registrar's site in a new tab. Some of these are affiliate links: the registrar may pay us a commission if you register, at no extra cost to you. The link passes only the domain name; what the registrar collects afterwards is governed by its own privacy policy.
8. Third-party advertising
Krafet may be funded by advertising. Ads are served by third-party advertising vendors, primarily Google AdSense, and may in future include other ad networks. These third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies (such as the DoubleClick cookie and device identifiers) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and to other websites, to limit how often you see an ad, and to measure ad performance. The data collected by these vendors is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by Google at Google Ads Settings, and out of many other vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu. How Google uses data from partner sites is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set, and can change or withdraw their choice at any time through the consent options shown on the site. When no ads are configured, no advertising code is loaded at all.
9. Other third parties
The interface fonts are loaded from Google Fonts directly by your browser, which sends Google your IP address as part of a normal request. No analytics scripts, social widgets or tracking pixels are embedded.
10. Your rights
Because Krafet holds no personal data beyond short-lived server logs, there is nothing to export or correct. If you believe we hold data about you, or have any question about this policy, contact us and we will answer within 30 days. Contact details are provided on request through the site operator.
11. Children
Krafet is not directed at children under 16 and knowingly collects no data from them.
12. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on the site.
